NJCAA Honors Five ACCAC Women's Basketball Players as All-Americans — Central Arizona freshman Heather Oliver was one of two players in the nation selected First Team NJCAA Division I All-American. Also selected to the Division I All-American squads were Yavapai's Antoinette Reed and Arizona Western's Kim Etol. Chandler-Gilbert's Sarah Hays was selected to the NJCAA Division II First Team All-American Team , while Phoenix College's Linda Ubadigbo was a Second Team honoree.

Central Arizona Ends Season #2 in Nation — Central Arizona's bid for another National Championship fell one victory short as the Vaqueros fell to Odessa (TX) College 73-50 in the Championship Game of the NJCAA Division I Tournament. Central Arizona Returns to National Title Hunt — Central Arizona once again will compete for the NJCAA Division I National Championship after defeating Yavapai 82-48 in the Region 1 Tournament finale. | More |

Top Seeds to Meet for DI and DII Region Titles — In the NJCAA Region I Division I Playoffs, #2 seed Yavapai will travel to #1 seed Central Arizona on Friday, March 9th, for a 7:30 p.m. title matchup. Yavapai earned the spot in the finals with a 62-53 victory over Cochise. In the Divison II Region Playoffs, #2 Chandler-Gilbert will travel to #1 seed Mesa on Thursday, March 8th, for a 7:30 p.m. championship meeting.
