Arizona Western Upsets Cochise for Region 1 DI Championship — #2 seed Arizona Western travelled to #1 seed Cochise and did something that no other team had done all season. Top Seeds to Meet for Region I Division II Championship — #1 seed Cochise and #2 seed Arizona Western both posted semifinal victories and will play each other for the title on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Cochise. Phoenix College Captures Region 1 Division II Title — The top-seeded Bears of Phoenix College captured the NJCAA Region 1 Division II Championship with a 75-61 victory over Scottsdale. The Bears title is the first for the program in five years and advances PC into the District Tournament. PC will travel to Harrison, Arkansas, to face North Arkansas on Friday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m. (CST).

Scottsdale Advances to Region I Division II Title Game — #3 seed Scottsdale defeated #2 seed Chandler-Gilbert 71-66 to advance to the championship game of the NJCAA Region I Division II Tournament.
