Students wishing to enroll in any Health Care Program should see a Health Care Advisor in the Advisement Center prior to enrolling in any HCC (Health Care Core) course. The HCC classes are prerequisites to the following programs: Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting,  EKG/Telemetry, Health Information Management, Medical Billing, Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomy, Therapeutic Massage, Laboratory Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technician, Histology Technician, and other allied health programs throughout the district.

We offer face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes for HCC courses.  Information on how to access all courses on the internet is found in the catalog.  In addition, self-help information packets are available for students to pickup in the Information Center located in the Admissions and Records Bldg., Computer Commons, Fannin Library, and the Advisement Center.
