Developmental English:

Developmental English classes are provided at Phoenix College for several purposes:

*To provide students whose placement scores indicate
that they need a review of English related materials at a
particular level the opportunity to get that
review.

*To provide students the opportunity to review English
skills based on an personal assessment or desire to
learn.

*To provide student with writing skills to help them function
successfully in 100 level college classes.

*To provide students with basic writing skills to function
successully in life traditional life situations.
