With the impact of technology on the dsign fields, designers are required to have both artistic and computer skills. The Phoenix College Graphic Design and Media Arts programs acquaint the student with artistic principles while developing each student's abiility to solve problems and create on the computer. This broad educational background also provides students with greater adaptability for changes affecting the work environmant, namely the continuous changes in the work hardware and software technology.
Phoenix College offers a wide variety of programs in this exciting filed, with Certificates of Completion and Associates in Applied Science degrees available in each speecific area. Areas include: Computer Grahic Design, Computer Art/ Illustration, Digital Animation, Digital Imaging, Web Page Design, and Digital Photography. As industry demand changes, new programs will be added.
In addition to preparing students for employment in these areas our programs upgrade the skills of those already employed in the industry.
