Leadership Structure

Dr. Anna Solley, President of Phoenix College, is leading the RCI development and has created an alliance with Professor Raul Yzaguirre, Professor of Practice & Executive Director, ASU Center for Community Development & Civic Rights to strengthen the programmatic work of the Institute and fundraising efforts.  University of Arizona's College of Social and Behavorial Science, Center for Latin American Studies has also agreed to join the collaborative effort and have partnered in the creation of a documentary of Governor Castro's lifetime achievements.

Maria Enciso, Spanish Residential Faculty at Phoenix College, is the Acting RCI Director.  A national search for a permanent executive director is anticipated in the near future.  The director will receive immediate direction from Dr. Anna Solley in collaboration with members of the RCI Executive Committee.

The leadership structure for the Raul Castro Institute is comprised of a Board of Governors, Executive Committee, and an Advisory Committee.
